Apple was made aware of iCloud 'brute-force' hacking method six months before celebrity photos were leaked

In early September, a massive breach resulted in the leak of several celebrity photos in compromising and personal positions. The photos were attributed to iCloud accounts from which the photos had been ascertained. Now, a new report has surfaced stating that Apple was made aware of the method used to access the photos six months before they were leaked online. Continue reading

Apple to release iOS 8.0.2 'in the next few days'

Apple has published a knowledge base document, which was first spotted Re/code, where it has acknowledged the problem with yesterday’s iOS 8.0.1 update, which resulted in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users not being able to make calls or use Touch ID.
