 Just as Energous’ new WattUp Mid Field Transmitter gears up for CES, Apple is believed to be working on one of its own, according to two patents filed with the FCC. Interestingly, a rumor has previously talked about a possible collaboration of Apple with Energous, although nothing materialized. A few days back we told you that a new team was planning to release Installer 5, an alternative for Cydia, an App Store for jailbreak apps and tweaks for iOS 11 and iOS 10. 
Apple is making its discounted battery replacement program available immediately for customers of iPhone 6 and higher across the world. In its initial statement, Apple had mentioned that the discounted battery program would be available from late January. 
A few days back, hacker and developer, Jonathan Levin, had released LiberiOS jailbreak for iOS 11.1.2 devices, the first jailbreak for iOS 11, iPhone X and iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. 
Thanks to all the criticism that Apple has received since it revealed that it intentionally degrades older iPhone batteries, the company was forced to issue an apology and communicate better with its customers. Apple also made a new support page where it clearly mentions the various aspects of an iPhone that would be affected by aging batteries.

It has been just over a year since Apple announced the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, in which the company officially ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack from its iPhone lineup.
