User Claims iPhone 8 Plus Split Open While Being Charged

The iPhone 8 Plus officially went on sale last weekend. Hot on the heels of its arrival, a couple of users are claiming to be getting defective units of the handset. One user in Taiwan claimed that the phone split open across the edges while charging. The user clarifies that the original Lightning cable and charging adapter were being used at the time. FM Radio Cannot Be Activated Even on Older iPhones

Yesterday, Apple responded to FCC over demand for FM radio to be activated on iPhones. Apple stated that iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 models do not have FM radio chips nor do they have antennas designed to support FM signals, so it wasn’t possible to magically activate FM radio in these products.
