Samsung Sales Figures Won’t Be Sealed During Appeal Posted: 02 Jan 2013 11:45 AM PST In December Judge Koh told Samsung that they had to provide sales figures as part of their appeal of the $10 billion judgement against them in the case with Apple. Court Dismisses Portion of Apple’s App Store Suite Against Amazon Posted: 02 Jan 2013 09:20 AM PST In March 2011 Apple sued Amazon over their use of “Appstore” for their new app store and in September of 2012, Amazon asked the judge to throw out the case based largely on both Steve Jobs and Tim Cook referring generically to competitors’ offerings as “app stores” as well.
