Apple has aired a new iPhone TV ad featuring Siri. Legendary film director Martin Scorsese stars in the ad. This is the 5th iPhone TV ad featuring celebrities. As we reported earlier today, it is widely speculated that Apple will replace the 30-pin dock connector with a smaller 19-pin dock connector in the next generation iPhone. iMore now reports that according to their source who had provided them the tip about the smaller dock connector, Apple plans to also launch an adapter alongside the new iPhone that will allow users to connect accessories using the old 30-pin dock connector to the device's new 19-pin connector. A new survey shows that while Samsung is seeing a huge surge in momentum with the launch of Galaxy S III last month, there is strikingly higher demand for ‘iPhone 5‘ compared to last year. Reuters: Smaller Dock Connector On Next iPhone To Make Room For Headphone Jack
A Reuters report, published today, claims that the next iPhone will feature a smaller, 19-pin dock connector, making room at the bottom for a headphone jack. Current iPhone models have the headphone jack at the top, and a 30 pin dock connector at the bottom.
