While the Smart Cover is a pretty good option for a cover, it just doesn’t do enough as an iPad stand. There are just two angles at which it can support the iPad, and these angles don’t cover all possible use cases of the device. A kickstarter project, appropriately named as Smarter Stand, helps increase the utility of the Smart Cover as an iPad stand by introducing additional angles at which the iPad can be supported. iOS 6 Reveals Apple Working On Maps App For OS X
The all-new Maps app is one of the major features in iOS 6 – Apple’s next generation mobile operating system that was unveiled last month, which includes features such as turn-by-turn voice navigation, 3D flyover-mode, real-time traffic information and more. UK Judge Rules Samsung Galaxy Tab Doesn’t Infringe on Apple’s iPad Because “It’s Not As Cool”
Another day, yet another lawsuit between Apple and Samsung. This time round the two companies were fighting the patent war in the UK. The Verge reports that UK judge in the High Court of Justice’s Chancery Division today ruled that Samsung’s Galaxy tab did not infringe on Apple’s iPad as it was not as well designed as Apple’s product.
