Apple extends exclusive deal with Liquidmetal Technologies for one more year

In 2010, Apple signed an agreement with LiquidMetal Technologies to get exclusive access to the firm's proprietary "amorphous metal alloys," often referred to as "metallic glass". Nest recalls 440,000 of its Protect Combination Smoke and CO detectors

Nest today issued an official recall of its Nest Protect smoke and carbon monoxide detector. Nest halted sales of the smoke detector in April after the discovery of a serious flaw in the smoke detection system.
