Bloomberg reports that Apple and Qualcomm made attempts to invest in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) – the world’s largest custom maker of chips. Leaked Memo Suggests T-Mobile USA Unlikely To Get ‘iPhone 5′
Leaked images of notices put up on T-Mobile’s internal site suggest that the carrier is unlikely to be one of the official carriers supporting the new iPhone in the U.S. when it comes out in September. The notice informs T-Mobile employees that on September 21st, the carrier will be rolling out training material focused on “selling against the iPhone.” September 21st, if you haven’t noticed, happens to be a widely rumored date for the availability of the next iPhone. Google owned Motorola has agreed to license its standard essential patents to Apple in Germany, reports FOSS Patents.
