Yesterday, we told you about the new iOS 6 features that won’t be available on older iOS devices, which included FaceTime over cellular that won’t be available on iPhone 4 and iPad 2 (Wi-Fi + 3G model). But based on the iOS 6 overview page on Apple’s Australian website, it looks like iPhone 4 and iPad 2  (Wi-Fi + 3G model) users will be able to FaceTime over cellular network. Continue reading

Verizon Introduces Shared Data Plans With Unlimited Calls And Texting
Verizon has unveiled its new “Share Everything” Plan that attempts to simplify the mess that present day data and voice plans create. Under the new plan, subscribers get unlimited calls, unlimited texts and the ability to share their data allowance across a maximum of 10 devices. Confirmed: iOS 6 Maps App Uses TomTom’s Mapping Data
As expected, Apple unveiled an all-new Maps app that will come bundled with iOS 6 later this fall. Apple was widely expected to use own mapping data, but few developers noticed that the new Maps app makes use of Data from TomTom.
