iOS 6 Adoption Rate Surpasses 60% After One Month

Samsung To Stop Supplying LCD Panels To Apple In 2013
Korea Times reports that Samsung's Display unit is set to terminate its relationship with Apple in 2013, and is already supplying only a small fraction of the LCD panels used in iOS devices. The reason is said to be Apple's increasing strong hold over the supply chain, because of which Apple is able to extract a much cheaper price for components, including the LCD panel. Samsung believes that it no longer needs to supply components at a price that generates very low margins. Continue reading
