In iOS 6, Apple has introduced a new advertising identifier, a non-permanent, non-personal device identifier that allows advertisers to track the activity on your iPhone to server you targeted ads. It’s an alternative to UDID, which Apple had deprecated after privacy concerns were raised with the way Apple and developers used UDID. Just because I'm a hard-core WordPress guy, doesn't mean that I never need a HTML editor. Sometimes I need to work on a newsletter template. Sometimes I just need to see how a chunk of CSS behaves. Or I might need a fast site and splash page for a project. And do you think I code by hand? Thank, no. I gave that up in 1997. Well, at least doing everything by hand. Regardless, having a solid WYSIWYG HTML editor is essential. Of course there are free ones. Sure those are good for a one off thing now and then, but really when you have a chance to get a great tool, you should. I've had a copy of RapidWeaver installed for a while. Apple Licenses Iconic Swiss Clock Design For iPad’s Clock App
Last month, Apple was accused of copying Swiss Federal Railways’ iconic clock design in its newly released Clock app for the iPad as a part of the iOS 6 update, as per a Swiss newspaper Tages-Anzeiger.  The clock, designed in 1944, is copyrighted and trademarked by the Swiss Federal Railways, which is why it was planning to take legal action against Apple.  Continue reading

Apple Likely to Unveil iPad Mini On October 23
Last week, a report claimed that Apple will send out invites for a media event to unveil the smaller and cheaper iPad, unofficially dubbed iPad mini on October 10th. It’s October 12th, and there is no sign of an invite from Apple.
