Verizon rolling out VoLTE with HD Voice on its 4G LTE network

Verizon on Tuesday announced that it will be rolling out VoLTE and HD Voice on its nationwide 4G LTE network in the coming weeks. VoLTE, or Voice over LTE, enables smartphone users to make simplified voice calls, including the ability to easily switch between a voice-only call and video call with a simple tap of the screen.  Continue reading

Apple granted patent for iPhone with flexible display that provides tactile feedback

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Tuesday granted Apple with a patent for a mobile device, such as a smartphone, that has a flexible display with internal components that provide tactile feedback to the user. The internal components would be positioned below the flexible display, such as a speaker, microphone or pressure sensor.  Continue reading
