Sprint names Marcelo Claure new president and CEO effective August 11

China bans Apple products from government purchases due to security concerns

Bloomberg reports that China has prohibited its government agencies from buying Apple products due to security concerns. The report claims that Apple products such as the iPad and the MacBook have been omitted from a government procurement list distributed by China’s National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Finance in July. Rumor: 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will feature 2100 mAh Battery, 34% larger than the iPhone 5s

Last month, the leaked photo of purported iPhone 6 battery had revealed that the next generation iPhone would offer minimal improvements in battery life.
