Following leaked photos of the purported iPhone 6 logic board over the weekend, which likely belonged to the 4.7-inch model, a new set of photos have emerged on Monday that provide a side-by-side comparison of what is believed to be the bare logic boards for the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6. Take a look at the leaked parts ahead, next to the current iPhone 5s logic board.  Continue reading

Microsoft's latest ad pokes fun at Siri by highlighting Cortana's Context-Aware Reminders

Microsoft has launched a new TV ad, entitled “Happy Anniversary,” that demonstrates a side-by-side comparison of Siri and Cortana on the iPhone 5s and Lumia 635 respectively. The 30-second spot is centered upon how Cortana can perform contextually-aware tasks across a number of services, while Siri cannot.  Continue reading

Apple Stores to begin selling iPhones on U.S Carriers Early Upgrade Programs next month

According to sources for the well-connected blogger Mark Gurman, Apple Stores will soon begin selling the iPhone on the AT&T Next, Verizon Edge and T-Mobile JUMP early upgrade programs in the United States. The report claims that the pilot program will commence in late August in certain test markets, rolling out to additional Apple Stores later this year. Continue reading

Retina MacBook Pro refresh rumored for tomorrow, including faster Haswell processors and 16 GB of RAM

Apple could be preparing to refresh its Retina MacBook Pro lineup with improved hardware as soon as tomorrow, according to a pair of reports that surfaced over the weekend and this morning. The ultra-slim notebooks could be upgraded with faster Haswell processors and increased RAM under the hood, with each model retaining the same price point as the previous generation.  Continue reading

Apple to acquire 'Pandora for Talk Radio' app Swell for $30 million
