Handoff in OS X Yosemite most likely limited to Macs with support for Bluetooth LE

It was previously speculated that Handoff, the new “Continuity” feature shipping with both iOS 8 and Mac OS X Yosemite would require the more recent Bluetooth 4.0 (LE) specification, and new evidence seen in the second beta of Yosemite released today suggests that that may be the case. Apple TV newest Beta brings Family Sharing to the set-top box

At this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple unveiled iOS 8 and a plethora of new features that are designed to bring new life to their mobile platform. At the same time, though, they wanted to put a lot of focus on the synergy between their mobile software and the operating system geared towards their Macs. They call it Continuity, and while they had specific features that fell into the category, there are other features that could easily fall into that idea. Enable OS X Yosemite's Dark Mode with this command

Apple announced OS X Yosemite earlier this month at WWDC with a whole new design, and as part of this, it also announced a new “Dark Mode” that’ll make the interface easier on the user’s eye at night. Garmin, a company that has done everything it can to help you not get lost when you’re out navigating the roads of the world, has released a new app into the iOS App Store that should appeal to those who don’t necessarily want to spend a lot of money on a navigation app, but wouldn’t mind picking individual features out if the need arises. As we’ve seen from other apps focused on navigation in the past, spending a large lump sum right from the start is usually the path well traveled. Garmin’s ready to provide an alternate route.
