New Retina iMacs support 30-bit colors on OS X El Capitan

With the OS X El Capitan update, Apple has silently improved the displays of the new Retina iMacs (2015) even further by adding support for billions of more colors. Up until Yosemite, OS X was limited to outputting colors at 24-bits, even when used with 30-bits compatible monitors. Continue reading
