If you are currently running either OS X Yosemite Golden Master Release Candidate 3 or Public Beta 6 and wondering how to upgrade to the final release seeded to the public on Thursday afternoon, the answer is that you are already running it. Chinese store selling iPhone 6 offers to make your pant pockets bigger

When the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were launched last month, the smartphones were put through a pocketability test to see how comfortable carrying the two smartphones were in skinny jeans and otherwise. While the iPhone 6 is pretty much your average sized smartphone with its 4.7-inch display, the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus belongs more to the phablet category and isn’t as easily pocketable. iOS 8.1 launch will enable SMS Relay and Instant Hotspot support on OS X Yosemite

Following several months of beta testing over the summer, OS X Yosemite was publicly released on Thursday afternoon as a free software update through the Mac App Store. If you have upgraded to the latest operating system already, keep in mind that support for the Continuity features SMS Relay and Instant Hotspot will not be enabled until iOS 8.1 is seeded next week. The iPad mini lineup should be phased out

On Thursday, October 16, Apple took the stage in Cupertino, California and announced new products. The event itself was pretty low-key, especially compared to the event in September that saw the arrival of new iPhones (and a ton of other stuff). GT Advanced Technologies plans to lay off 727 employees at Mesa, Arizona plant

Apple discontinues Mac mini server, max storage option now 1TB

It has been an eventful day for Apple to say the least, following its special product event this afternoon in which the company introduced new iPads, new Macs and followed through with the public release of OS X Yosemite.
