Apple’s iPhone accounts for 43 percent of smartphone sales in the US
The iPhone continues to sell well in the US, grabbing 43.4 percent of smartphone sales in the three months to July 2013, says a new report from market research firm Kantar Worldpanel.  This is a jump of 7.8 percentage points from the 35.6 percent reported in the same three month period last year. Besides the US, Apple also gained ground in Britain, France and Mexico. Britain matches the US with a year over year jump of 7.8 percentage points, moving from 23.3 to 31.1 percent. Continue reading
