DoJ accuses Apple of implementing In-App Purchase Policies to retaliate against Amazon
The U.S. Department of Justice today submitted a revised remedy for the e-book price fixing case, which found Apple guilty of "conspiring" with five publishers to raise the retail prices of e-books. The revised remedy isn’t a lot different from the original proposed punishment, in which DOJ wanted Apple to let Amazon and other retailers add sales links from their apps. Continue reading

Last year the jury ordered Samsung to pay $1.08 billion in damages to Apple for infringing on several of its patents. One of those patents was "bounce back" or '381 patent. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to retire within 12 months
In case you haven’t heard, Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO has decided to retire within the next 12 months. He will remain as the CEO until his successor is found. Ballmer dropped out of Stanford Graduate School of Business to join Microsoft in 1980, and was the company’s 30th employee. He became the CEO of Microsoft in 2000. Continue reading
