There have been several rumors and speculations, which suggest that Apple is planning to launch a low-cost or budget iPhone with a plastic rear shell. Last month, the plastic retail packaging of the rumored budget iPhone revealed that it could be called “iPhone 5C.” Japanese blog Macotakara reports that “iPhone 5C” will be indeed the name of the device, where “C” stands for Colors, as it will be available in various color options. iPhone 5 explodes in China resulting in eye injuries
Da Lian Evening News (via ZDNet) reports that a Chinese woman suffered eye injuries after her iPhone 5 exploded while she was on a call. According to the report, she was on a phone call for 40 minutes when she noticed that the screen had become very warm.
