When iOS 7 was previewed, and subsequently when the first beta came out, many people were not pleased with the radical changes made by Jony Ive and his design team. A major cause of concern was the choice of system font — an ultra thin variant of Helvetica Neue — that looked good, but was extremely hard to read. The good news is that Apple seems to have realised the advantages of a legible font, and switched to Helvetica Neue Regular in iOS 7 beta 3 that was seeded few hours back. Continue reading

iPhone 5 best selling smartphone on T-Mobile, as iOS marketshare in US grows by 3.5%
T-Mobile started selling the iPhone 5 from April this year, and in just a few months the device has become the best selling smartphone on the network, accounting for nearly a third of the sales. We've just got the news that Apple has seeded the third version of iOS 7 beta to developers of iOS Developer Program.
