According to 9to5Mac, their sources can confirm, without a shadow of a doubt, that Apple will release new MacBook Airs at WWDC next week. They’ll of course use Intel’s latest Haswell chip, and they’ll have a dual microphone system that makes for better voice and video calls. NY Attorney General summons Apple, others over smartphone thefts
Smartphones are accounting for a higher proportion of thefts in the U.S. with each passing day, and the U.S. government is trying to stop this by asking smartphone manufacturers to develop technologies that makes stolen phones useless. You’d think that with Samsung launching their brand new flagship handset, the Galaxy S4, that it would eat into Apple’s U.S. market share, right? Well, you’d be wrong. According to the bean counters at comScore, roughly 39.2% of all smartphone owners in the United States owned an iPhone in April. That’s up from 37.8% in January.
