As per KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Android OEMs will end up taking almost 2.5 years to copy the functionality of the TrueDepth camera system in their devices. The analyst had earlier believed that Apple’s competitors would take around 1-2 years but after seeing the tech demo from Apple, he is convinced the time taken will be closer to 2.5 years. The 6-core A11 Bionic chip inside the iPhone 8 is nothing short of a beast. In benchmarks, the chip easily beats the Snapdragon 835 powering most of the flagship Android devices and even manages to surpass some of the Core processors from Intel used by Apple in its MacBook lineup. Judge Rules FBI Can Keep Details of iPhone Hack Secret
