comScore: Apple top OEM manufacturer with 41% market share

According to a new report from comScore, Apple is leading as the number one OEM smartphone manufacturer with 41% market share. Samsung, Apple’s top competitor when it comes to hardware manufacturing, is in second place and gaining speed with a new high of 27%. Falling in third, fourth, and fifth, are LG at 6.8%, Motorola at 6.3%, and HTC at 5.4%, respectively. In hardware, LG was the only platform of the bottom three that grew, with 0.3% growth.
