Reddit user spiceman54j has conducted a survey among jailbreakers, or to be more accurate a small group of jailbreakers who visit reddit, which has revealed some interesting details. The survey reveals that a majority of the jailbreakers are teenagers living in the U.S who have an iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.x. Continue reading

PPSSPP: The First PSP Emulator For iOS Now Available On Cydia
Few days back, we brought you the news that PPSSPP, the PSP emulator was successfully ported to iOS by Henrik Rydgard, developer of Dolphin, the Gamecube and Wii emulator. We had also embedded a video which shows the PSP emulator running on the 4th generation iPad. While it graphics looked quite good, the frame rate was noticeably very slow as the emulator is using an interpreter instead of the Just-In-Time compiler (JIT). Continue reading

On Friday, China’s state run TV network, CCTV, called out Apple’s “shady” iPhone replacement policy in its yearly consumer protection show. The show specifically criticised how Apple replaces faulty iPhones with refurbished units instead of new ones.
