We didn’t get a lot of impressive updates for iPad in iOS but what we did see was a whole new interaction model for the iPad. After the iPhone X came out, switching between the iPhone and the iPad became a jarring experience. I would find myself swiping up from the bottom of the iPad screen to go the Home screen. iOS 12 Has Built-in Reporting of Spam Calls and Messages

Apple has been in a tiff with India’s telecom authority TRAI over the latter’s Do Not Disturb app to report spam calls and texts to it. Apple does not allow third-party apps access to SMSes and call logs so there was no way for the Do Not Disturb app from TRAI to work in iOS. In iOS 12 though, Apple has made a small change which is going to make this possible. Continue reading
