Report: LG Will Be the Sole Supplier of iPhone 9 Batteries

According to reports coming out of the Korean media, LG Chemical will be the only supplier of batteries for Apple’s 2018 iPhone, known as the iPhone 9 as of now. This is no doubt a massive shift for Apple in terms of policy, as the company usually uses a combination of manufacturers to procure batteries for the iPhones.
