An Apple Watch owner who found a crack in the device’s display has won a court case against Apple. Gareth Cross, from Aberystwyth in west Wales, sued the Cupertino company for an alleged breach of the U.K.’s Sale of Goods Act and was awarded £429 ($621). Continue reading

Microsoft reportedly acquiring SwiftKey for $250 million for its work on artificial intelligence (Update: Official)

After acquiring various startups behind popular apps like Accompli and Sunrise Calendar, Microsoft is now acquiring SwiftKey, the developers of the popular keyboard with the same name for iOS and Android for $250 million. Apple acquired LegbaCore, one of the teams behind Thunderstrike 2, in November 2015

Apple acquired firmware security company LegbaCore in November 2015 as per security researcher Trammell Hudson. The researcher revealed this information during his presentation at the 32C3 conference in December last year.
