Rumor: iPhone 6s to use smaller backlighting chips for slimmer, lighter design

Apple will use smaller LED backlighting chips in the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to allow for slimmer, lighter designs, according to a new report. The chips are said to be around 2mm thinner than those currently used in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Continue reading

I switched back to the MacBook Air

I've gone back and forth between wanting a MacBook Pro and wanting a MacBook Air. The similarities between the 13-inch in both models are pretty great, and even if the Air is positioned as the ultraportable of the two, the MacBook Pro is still plenty portable in its own right. But I've always ended up with the MacBook Air more often than not. A few brief stints here and there with the Pro, but, just like right now, the Air is where I usually end up. Continue reading
