Apple will be launching the new iPad in 23 more countries including Brazil on Friday, May 11th and 7 more countries in the Middle East on Saturday, May 12th. Three More Regional Carriers to Offer Apple’s iPhone on May 18th
Three more regional carriers in the US will be offering Apple’s iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 on May 18th. They join six other regional carriers including nTelos Wireless, Alaska Communications, Appalachian Wireless (Kentucky), GCI Wireless (Alaska), CellCom (Wisconsin) and Matanuska Telephone Association (Alaska) who started offering Apple’s iPhone last month on their network. T-Mobile USA to Launch iPhone Compatible 4G HSPA+ Network by End of the Year, 4G LTE Network in 2013
T-Mobile USA has announced that it plans to launch 4G HSPA+ network in the 1900 MHz band in a “large number of markets” by the end of the year. It also plans to roll out 4G LTE network in 2013. T-Mobile USA, the fourth largest carrier in the US has not been able to offer Apple’s iPhone as their 3G network is not compatible with the iPhone. Continue reading
