Apple has released iOS 13.1 developer beta which signals the end of iOS 13 beta releases. The company has also released the eighth beta for tvOS 13 and ninth beta for watchOS 6. It is interesting to see that Apple has proceeded for iOS 13.1 beta testing. This is the first time Apple has proceeded with developer beta without releasing the final version of the previous iOS.

Apple seems to be staring at yet another controversy with MacBook Pro battery overheating and blowing up. We have seen a number of examples where MacBook overheats and in some cases, the device has also caused grievous injuries to the user. Recently, the U.S FAA banned affected MacBook Pro from its flights owing to safety concerns. Now Virgin Australia, Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways have announced partial bans for MacBook Pro. Apple has issued recalls but the problem seems to be far from over. 
Apple is testing a more useful and insightful search result format for Spotlight web queries. While one can use Spotlight to make search queries, it is only able to directly link to Wiki pages or show a generic list of results. However, in the new format, just like Google’s Knowledge Graph, Siri Spotlight can directly show answers to some questions. 
After accidentally reverting a patch for a security exploit that led to an iOS 12.4 jailbreak, Apple released iOS 12.4.1 to fix the issue. What this means is that the clock has started ticking and it is only a matter of time before Apple stops signing iOS 12.4. If you want to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad, you should consider upgrading/downgrading it to iOS 12.4 in case you have accidentally installed the iOS 12.4.1 or are currently running an iOS 13 beta build. 
So far we have seen the Unc0ver team work relentlessly on an iOS 12.4 jailbreak for A12/X Bionic devices. The team has made steady progress though there is still a fair bit of work that’s still left to be done.
