 iOS 12 betas really spoiled us. They were surprisingly stable. Stable enough to be a daily driver. iOS 13 beta is not that. It’s quite bad. It’s filled with weird UI glitches, functionality and privacy bugs. Not to mention the battery issues. Plus, iCloud syncing for some apps is broken. This is true for both the developer betas and the public betas. Yes, the dark mode is epic, but you should wait for the final release in fall to try it out. Continue reading →

 Last week security researchers unearthed a vulnerability in Zoom video conferencing app. The vulnerability allowed others to open your webcam without an invite. Initially, Zoom downplayed the issue and later issued a patch alongside an explanation. However, the Zoom webcam vulnerability only seems to have opened a pandora's box.  Apple has decided to start funding podcasts in order to compete with Spotify. The news had a negative effect on Spotify stocks which took a 2 percent hit.  Apple Card has been hogging the limelight ever since it was announced earlier this year. Apple has partnered with Goldman Sachs and apparently, the latter has already spent big bucks for Apple Card.  One of my biggest gripes with iOS is its barely customizable home screen. Sadly, Apple has not fixed this issue with iOS 13 and there is no jailbreak tweak to radically enhance the iOS 12 home screen as well.
