Apple Overtakes Samsung To Become No.1 Mobile Phone Vendor In The U.S. Posted: 01 Feb 2013 04:29 AM PST Apple overtook Samsung to become the number one mobile phone vendor in the U.S. in the fourth quarter of 2012, according to research firm Strategy Analytics. According to the report, Apple shipped 17.7 million iPhones, grabbing a record 34% of the market share in the fourth quarter of 2012. It was up sharply from  12.8 million units shipped and 25.4 percent market share in the fourth quarter of 2011.  Continue reading →

Apple Loses Appeal to Get Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus Banned Posted: 31 Jan 2013 09:27 PM PST An appeals court in Washington DC has again rejected Apple's request to stop the sales of Samsung's Galaxy Nexus smartphone. Well, Apple has a new patent for a laser keyboard and proximity sensor that could project your keyboard from your device (the illustrations show a tablet, but why not an iMac?).
